Kendra Spears is pregnant, according to an official statement released by the Ismaili Muslim community’s website.
Former supermodel, Kendra Spears, who is now known as Princess Salwa Aga Khan wed Prince Rahim Aga Khan on August 31st 2013. Spears and Prince Rahim Aga got married in a traditional Muslim ceremony at the Château de Bellerive on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland.
The lovers dated only for four months before saying “I do.” Just like the engagement, the pregnancy announcement was made by Kendra Spears’ father-in-law, His Highness Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini Aga Khan (IV), who stated that he was very happy for the new couple.

Expressing his greatest happiness, Mawlana Hazar Imam informed the Jamat today that Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa are expecting their first child. Around the world, Ismailis are gathering in Jamatkhanas to celebrate the happy news.
Khan IV, a billionaire who is regarded by his 15 million adherents as a direct bloodline descendant of the prophet Mohamed went on the congratulate the pair:
“Aitmadi Mahmoud Eboo, Chairman of the Ismaili Leaders’ International Forum (LIF) has submitted a message of congratulations to Mawlana Hazar Imam and the entire Imamat family, and also conveyed warmest wishes to Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa on this very happy occasion.”
Kendra Spears signed with Ford Models in 2008, she was dubbed the new Cindy Crawford and appeared on the covers of French ELLE, Vogue, and Dazed & Confused.
At the height of her career, Spears was the face of Prada and represented brands like Calvin Klein, Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy.
