Denzel Washington plays Creasy, a former assassin, with a drinking problem & little self-esteem, who takes on the job of bodyguard to a little girl (Dakota Fanning) for a rich family in Mexico City where kidnappings are an everyday part of life. Of course the inevitable happens & Creasy seaks vengeance in a hunt for the kidnappers that ends with brutal endings for all of them. Also starting Marc Anthony, Radha Mitchell, Christopher Walken, Mickey Rourke. Very good & suspenseful film - but not a place to go if you want something light!
