| The Secret to Having it All: Movie Review May 20th 2012, 04:34 Every child should have someone who loves them. I just cried my eyes out. While surfing through all the channels tonight, I stumbled upon the movie, Antwone Fisher. It had been quite awhile since I saw it last, but I remembered how much I loved this movie, so I decided to watch again. However, it is such a moving story, I can't help but cry throughout pretty much the entire movie. You haven't seen it? You most definitely should! It is based on the real life story of Antwone Fisher. {2002} | | "I imagined myself as somebody". - Antwone Fisher |
Storyline A sailor prone to violent outbursts is sent to a naval psychiatrist for help. Refusing at first to open up, the young man eventually breaks down and reveals a horrific childhood. Through the guidance of his doctor, he confronts his painful past and begins a quest to find the family he never knew. Not only does Derek Luke do a fantastic job in this movie, but of course, Denzel Washington is once again amazing {can you tell he's a favorite!!?}. And I must have forgotten Joy Bryant's role in this movie. She plays Jasmine on my favorite show, Parenthood. Who will cry for the little boy? By Antwone FisherWho will cry for the little boy?
