The LDS young women and singer Jenny Phillips have a lot to share. Part of Jenny's ever-growing repertoire is her support for the theme for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) annual proclamation for their young women.
Again this year, Jenny has compiled her collection of Rise And Shine Forth music that promotes the 2012 theme. The big response to Jenny's passionate songs with that message has generated more than 500,000 CD's sold. Jenny has a significant following that has furnished memorable praise for the artist's enlightening music and inspirational message.
The LDS President, Henry B. Erving, paints the LDS young women as the pillars for a higher level of morality and a barrier against the abuse of women that is rampant in the U.S. These young women are charged to promote a life of virtue through their beliefs and faith.
As the carriers of virtue, the young women are asked to emanate their virtue in their garb, speech and in everything they do, including use of the Internet. The music of Jenny Phillips reflects the artist's firm belief and faith through a beautiful voice that makes her message very clear.
Most Latter-Day Saint Members hear Jenny's songs as therapeutic and filled with the emotions they all experience in their joy of Jesus Christ. LDS followers place their faith in Jesus Christ at the center of their lives.
As LDS young women grow in their beliefs, they regularly attain a new sense of awareness for verses and testimonies that represented one belief at one time in their religion but offer other messages as they grow up. The Young Women are viewed as the guardians of virtue.
