Woman gives birth after thinking she had cramps | Capital Radio

BREAST A woman went to the doctor thinking she just had stomach cramps and gave birth 15 hours later after a scan revealed she was at least seven months gone.

Amanda Ross had no idea she was pregnant and was expecting to be prescribed some medicine for constipation and be on her way, but when the medic sent the 41-year-old female to see a midwife and a scan revealed she was at least seven months gone.

The Gloucestershire woman is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: “My first reaction when they told me I was pregnant was sheer terror.

“I had no idea. There’d been no morning sickness, no kicking, nothing.”

Amanda gave birth to daughter Chloe, 4lb 9oz, just hours later.
