When the stars go on a promotional round for a movie as serious as Fruitvale Station, it must be a bit of relief when visiting Chelsea Lately.
26 year-old up-and-coming star Michael B. Jordan sat down with Chelsea Handler last week, talked briefly about the movie but of course, Chelsea quickly changed the tone by asking about his facial hair for the lead role:
It took me about three months to grow what I had, plus Photoshop. I can’t really grow a beard. It’s a little depressing as a man.
Little did he know, Chelsea would go on to randomly ask him why he didn’t transfer hair from other parts of his body…like his ankles (LOL!)
Eventually the Fruitvale star chatted about the seasoned actors he looks up to, who often inspire him:
I look up to Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling, and Denzel [Washington], Will Smith, those are people that definitely inspire me.
